Sister Love

Dad walked in on this one evening!  Eliza giving Lucy a pedicure!  Eliza had set up the perfect pedicure and Lucy was really enjoying herself!

Newport Beach

We spent and evening and a day at the beach.  We went to he beach one evening after being at the parks and it was nice to take a break from the parks.  Of course our kids have to play in the sand and water.  Their clothes were soaking wet!

The sunset was so cool that evening.  We had some cloud cover that gave everything a cool look!

 My sweets!!

The next day the kids had their swim suits on were really ready to party at the beach!
It was cold but Jason and Anne didn't seem to mind.  They boogie boarded all morning.

 Love all of you!!
The kids spent hours building this fortress of sand.

On Sunday we went and visited with Grandpa Harvey.  I did not get a picture!  What was I thinking… But, we took Grandpa and Grandma out to dinner.  We then went back to his house to watch some of the Super bowl.  It was so nice to see and visit with them.  We had to head back to Anaheim to pack  our bags to head home the next day.

It was such a fun trip and was the perfect get a away during the cold months.  How I love all of you and the fun memories we were able to have during this trip!

Feeling like a Princess

Every time we are at Disneyland the girl's want to get their hair done at the Bippity Boppity Boutique. I have looked into it and I really do not like the hair do they give and it's super expensive!  While in Down Town Disney we found the Elsa and Anna Boutique.  In this store they do cute hair, their nails, and a little make-up for half the price.  I was sold and booked a time for a 3 of the girls.

 The girls really enjoyed it!

When they are done they sprinkle glitter on them and have them make a wish… So cute!
I like how the hair looked and the girls felt super special all day.  Lots of little girls in Disneyland pointing to their hair and Mom's asking where we got it done.

We spent another day at Disneyland.  Eliza, Lucy, and I love the Teacups.  Dad and the olders not so much.
Look at these cute princesses!  We had another fun day at Disneyland.

California Adventure!

We spent two days in this park and we had the best time!  I love the huge Mickey Mouse Ferris Wheel.  This trip the kids tried all the rides including California Screaming.  Last time Jason and Anne were a little afraid but, they did it this year and actually thought it was fun!
We stood in line to meet Anna and Elsa.  This was a must for Lucy but when it came time to actually meet them she got a little nervous.  Good thing Eliza and I were there with her!  Love you Lucy!
Our whole family could fit in one car on the Cars ride.  The kids laughed and laughed at my hair in this picture at the finish line! :)
Lucy loves Doc McStuffins and was really excited to meet her.
I love this picture of Eliza putting up her hands on the cars ride!

We always love hanging out in cars land and can't get over how much it looks like the movie!

Disneyland!!

The kids have been waiting for this trip for a couple of months.  This was part of their Christmas so, the anticipation has been strong since Christmas.  We flew in to California and rented a town home right across the street from Disneyland.  It was so nice!  We could just walk over to the park every morning and getting home was never a hassle.  I loved having a kitchen so we didn't have to eat out for every meal.  The weather was perfect while we were there and the lines were great!
Mike took the older kids to go on rides while the littles wanted to go meet the princesses.  Eliza is pretty much done meeting princesses, but she was a good sister and went with Lucy so she wasn't alone.

These two loved the story book ride.
We met back with olders and went on Autotopia.  Anne was my driver!
That evening we went to the ESPN Sport zone and ate dinner.  On the top of the restaurant they have fun games and bowling.  We hung out there for a while!

Disneyland!!

The kids really didn't want to stand in line to meet to many characters.  We did find goofy though!

The two little girls loved the story book ride.  I have to admit it's pretty cute!
This girl loved the Disney parade!  Every afternoon she wanted to see the parade and we all had the parade memorized.  I can still hear the music in my mind. :)

 Toon Town fun!

Heading to Disneyland!

I think going on the plane is an adventure in itself for these kids.  They are such great travelers!

Jason is 12!

Look how handsome this boy is!  He has been so excited to turn 12 mostly because he has been so excited to be in Young Men's.  He has pretty much been done with Primary for about a year now.  He graduated Primary and I was proud of him for earning his Faith in God award!   We got him this new suit to wear now that he has the Priesthood and will be passing the Sacrament.  He does such a great job passing the sacrament and our ward was in need of another deacon so, his birthday came at the right time.  Due to our vacation to Disneyland Jason received the Priesthood on February 8th.  The same day he was baptized 4 year ago.  It is a special date for Jason!  I have been so bad with my camera lately that I didn't get a picture of him on that day but, he received an amazing blessing from Mike that day.  Also, Lucy has been praying every night for Jason.  I never prompted her but she just started praying for Jason and that he would get the priesthood.  I thought it was so sweet.  We really do need another priesthood holder in this family and we  are grateful Jason was worthy to receive it.

Not only did he receive the Priesthood but he also got some fun gifts.  More arrows for his bow.
 Under amour sweatshirt
 New bedding.
The big present were his spike's for track.  Hopefully, these shoes help him grip better when he sprints.

This kids loves Pumpkin Pie and that is what he wanted for his birthday dessert.  How we love this boy of ours and are so proud of the Young man he is becoming!
