Swimming Lessons

The kids had swimming lessons this year up at the Cottonwood Heights Rec. center.  They did a great job and improved their swimming skills.  The picture above is Jason doing the front crawl.
 Jason back floating.
 Jason doing the back stroke.
Jason jumping off the diving board!  Jason  improved a ton and is getting better at the different strokes.
Anne getting ready to jump in the deep end.
Anne playing water games and getting ready to go under the water.  Anne had some interesting teachers and she didn't learn a ton this time around.  We will get better teachers our next go at lessons.
Eliza swimming!  She is a great little swimmer!
 Eliza floating on her back.
Eliza loved swimming!  She had a great teacher that made her try new skills and she improved a ton!

Father's Day

It was another successful Father's Day.  The kids were so excited about their gifts.   Eliza made a Mike a homemade tie to wear to church.  They made him a Father's Day shirt with their handprints all over it.  They also made him a little stepping stone to put in our new yard.  We had fun making the gifts this year.
I hope my kids know that they have an amazing Father.  He loves them so much and everything he does is for their happiness and well being.  Mike is the fun one around our home and as the kids get older they are really cherishing him.  We love you Dad/ Mike!!!!

Jill's Tap Performance

I have been watching Jill dance for years.  I have loved every one of her performances and I am always so proud of her abilities.  Unlike me ,she stuck with dance and she also has a love for it.  I have benefited from trips to see her dance and cheer her on.  So, we were so excited to see her dance again and in her favorite type...Tap.
It was fun to sit on the grass with my sweets!
 These nieces loved watching Jill.
Lucy was in heaven because she got to sit on cute Grandma Youngs lap
 Jill tapping!

 Cheering for Jill!!!
Eliza, Anne, and Sydney gave their Auntie flowers after her performance.  Jill did so great and it was a really fun evening!

Lucy Girl

Every time I see this picture it makes me smile.  Lucy is at a fun but, active stage.  She knows what she wants and and how she wants things.  Whenever I pull out the camera she says "Cheez"  It's so cute.
If we give her an inch in the car she is right in the driver seat.  She will put on my sunglasses and pretend she is driving.
One day I found her playing in the cooler.  She loved it in there!  She had a doll and blanket and seemed to think it was her own little play hut.   Love you Lucy!

Framing

They starting framing in June and it was so exciting to see the future walls go up.  We went just about everyday to see the home take it's shape.

Looking toward future stair way and entry way.
Looking out future master bedroom windows.
Looking out over our cat walk area of home.
Hanging out in Anne and Eliza's future room.  We like to hang out and talk about where we want to put our beds and other furniture

Here it is in it's official look.  We love it so much!

Summer Cherries

One the benefits of living at Grandma and Grandpa Schwitzer's is their cherry tree.  It's such a fun tree and the kids usually just love climbing around on it.  But, we happen to be around when there were ripe cherries and the birds had not gotten to them first.
We picked a whole bowl and then ate them all up!

Good Summer memories!

Camp Jeremiah Johnson

Jason and I went to Camp Jeremiah Johnson for cub scout camp.  I am so happy I got the chance to go again to camp with him.  This is my third year to camp and it's so much fun.  This year it was soooo cold.  We both wore 2 sweat shirts because our coats were all packed.  We still managed to survive though.  Jason had a great time and I had a great time watching him.
 He did archery
 BB Gun shooting
 A Hand Cart pull
 Boat Safety
Panning for Gold!  He also played games and made a little teepee.  We ate lunch at the camp and came home.  Jason is my only son so, having the chance to be in scouts with him has been so special to me.
