Thanksgiving

For the month of November every night at dinner each of us would think of one thing we are thankful for. We would write it on a fall leave and hang it on our tree. We ended up with a beautiful Thanksgiving tree and a lot to be thankful for this year!
The Schwitzer family on Thanksgiving Day!
Thanksgiving dinner was at Grandma and Grandpa Young's this year. Grandma always does such a nice job making everything so nice.

Uncle Ryan was the turkey this year! Happy Birthday Ryan!
This was Lucy's first Thanksgiving since last year she was born the day after Thanksgiving. She loved everything.

The girl table. Anne, Linnea, Elsie, Sydney, and Eliza
Jason and Allen got to sit at the adult table. They are moving up!
Mike's Thanksgiving meal! Yummy! It was so good!
Some of us at the table... Erin, Mike, Grandpa Young ( not looking) Brad, JanaLynn, Jill, and Jason.

Twice the Fun

Lucy and Emily are ten days apart so we decided to celebrate their first birthdays together on the Schwitzer side. We had a dinner and celebrated the first year of these sweet little girls. Lucy wasn't in the best mood that day and was very confused by all the attention.

Lucy got to open lots of fun presents from cousins.
Cute Anne Linnea!
Lucy loved when everyone sang Happy Birthday to her and Emily. They were not sure what to do when it came time to blow out the candle.

Happy #14 to Emma. When I married Mike Emma was 4. I can't believe she is 14! She is the sweetest 14 year old around!

Dancing Anne

Anne took a dance class from Karen in our neighborhood. She had such a good time going each week with her friends and learning a lot about dance. Karen held a parent show and tell to show off so far what the girls have learned.

Check out her good form!

Anne had awesome kicks!

Anne is so strong and she can do hand stands and head stands on her own. She also learned how to do a cart wheel.

Ten Years!

The past Ten Years have flown by but, they have been so wonderful with Mike. We celebrated on the big day by doing what we have done for many years..... Go out to dinner at the Garden and walk around the temple. We just really enjoy going back to where we were sealed and had some of our wedding parties. We had the ultimate trip a month ago by going to Italy and going out for a quiet dinner without the kids was perfect. I love Mike so much and he is my best friend and I can't wait for the next ten!!

Halloween 2011

For school Jason had to make a monster out of things from home. He made this monster out of a sandwich bag box. He named him yep yep and he had to write a paper on the monster and draw a map of his neighborhood. He did a good job!

Sunday night we carved our pumpkins. We let the kids carve their own and we had no fancy designs this year. The kids did the good old fashioned pumpkin faces. Eliza is really proud of her work and she should be! She did this all my herself!

Anne's pumpkin creation. It was very cute!

We told Jason he could pick out any pumpkin when we picked pumpkins. He came back with this huge pumpkin. He was laughing so hard the whole time we were buying it! But, the joke came back on him when it took him a long time to clean that pumpkin and to carve it. He did it well and it turned out to be a great pumpkin.

Eliza was Tinkerbell minus the wings. The wings bugged her!

Anne was a witch but, she wanted to be a nice witch. She is a very nice witch!

Jason was Anakin Skywalker from Star Wars.

This was Lucy's first Halloween and all our kids on their first Halloween sport this duck costume. We bought this in Indiana for Jason and all our kids have worn it. I had no idea that this costume would make it through that many kids. She didn't like the costume but, let us take pictures before she wanted the hat off.

Happy Halloween! Getting ready to go trick-or-treating. We had the best weather for trick-or-treating and it was a picture perfect day. The kids had the Halloween parade at school, and parties in class.

It was a long day for Lucy and she couldn't understand why she couldn't dump that whole bowl of candy on the floor! Happy 1st Halloween Lu Lu!!!

The Young Spooky Dinner

Grandma and Grandpa Young put on a spooky dinner every year. It almost didn't happen this year with every one's crazy schedule but, Grandma Young pulled it off and the we had a great time. Our family dressed up. I am not the best at dressing up but, I did manage some fairy wings. Mike is a doctor which is always our last minute idea because he has all the supplies in our basement!

They set up a spider web in their living room that the kids have to get through. No matter how old they get they love this spider web.

Eliza as Tinkerbell, Anne is a witch, Sydney is Goldilocks, Linnea is Little Red Riding Hood, and Elsie is a Lion. Cute girls!

Jason is Anakin Skywalker and Allen is a mummy. We ate a spooky dinner with candle light and enjoyed seeing each other all dressed up.
