Young Family Party

Rob was in town over the weekend so, we had a party at Brad's house to catch up. Rob and Lezlie dropped off Allie to college so, sad for them to let her go but, good to see them again. In the picture above is the siblings minus Stephanie... Jill, Ryan, Brad, Joe, Rob, and Erika

In the afternoon we played some water games with the kids. They loved the water balloons and ended up having a water fight.

There favorite game was the sponge race and Jason and Anne did very well. We made sure to cheer for all the cousins and everyone ended up being a winner!

The kids made some cookie hamburgers and cookie flip flops. It was a hot day and the frosting was melting but, they were yummy

If you go to Allen's house you will be playing either Risk or Chess. Allen ,who is only 8, beats every adult in Risk and Jason watches and tries to learn his skill

The Last Week of Summer

We have been enjoying our last week of summer. It definitely has been hot and one morning at 8 a.m the kids were ready to go down the slip n' slide. 8 a.m is a little early for me but, it was hot enough so,why not. Plus, I had not taken any slip n' slide pictures this summer and that always need to to be documenting as being done over a summer! This weekend Grandpa and Grandma Young had all the kids sleep over in their tent in their backyard. The kids had a great time and enjoyed walking down in the "gully" looking for foxes. I remember going down to the gully to play over my summer break and I can't help but to think how time flies!

A new fashion

Emma makes these cute dog bandannas and she gave one to Max. He actually really enjoys wearing this bandanna and we tell him he looks "handsome". Max makes our kids happy and sometimes drives me crazy, but we are happy to have him in the family.
