Election Night

The night of the election we had a party at our house.  This was the only picture I took that night.  Here is the little bud Smith.  He voted with his Mom and of course he voted for Romney.  I thought this party would be so much fun and we could be happy and cheer for the Romney victory.  But, it ended up being a sad evening and everyone went home pretty down.

I thought for sure that Romney would win.  I was done with Obama and his lies and bad policies.  I thought that Mitt could solve a lot of our country problems.  Not only is he smart but, he is Mormon.  To have a Mormon president would be just amazing.  But, the country thought other wise.  They voted back in Obama and in some states they legalized gay marriage and drug use!

As I look at this sweet baby Smith I think about his future and my kids future.  If things are this bad now what are they going to have to go through.  I worry the most about my kids.  But, as I have thought this whole thing out I am grateful that I have chosen righteousness.  As long as we stay the course of righteousness my kids will turn out fine and the Lord will take care of everything else.  The world can go into chaos around us but, we will stay firm in our beliefs.

I am grateful for strong family bonds with extended family.  I think about my kids and all their cousins on both sides.  If all else fails they will have each other to hang out with and stand strong together!

I still get sick as I think about the Romney loss but, I know everything will work out and everything is in the Lord's hands.

Happy Halloween 2012

We started the morning by going to the Halloween school parade.  It's always fun to sit and see all the kids in their costumes.
Anne and Jason showing off their costumes.

Lucy was the cutest tiger.  Lucy loved halloween this year.  We took her to the first home and she wasn't quite sure about it.  But, after she discovered that she could just walk up to someone's home and get candy she was all over it.  She started running from house to house.  It was so fun to watch.
Eliza was the prettiest Alice in Wonderland
 Anne made a beautiful princess
 A future Dr. Schwitzer!
All the kids ready for Trick or Treating!
Paul and Kari invited us to go Trick or Treating in their fun neighborhood.  It was so fun to be with cousins and go trick or treating.  It doesn't' get any better than this!

Halloween Fun!

We spent one evening making Halloween cookies to take to neighbors and carving pumpkins.  This has been a fun tradition for our family.
This was Lucy's idea of decorating a cookie.
We then carved our pumpkins.  Everyone did a great job making their pumpkin faces.
 Lucy loved her little pumpkin.
Four little pumpkins sitting on a porch.

First Snow

We had our first snow in our new home the week before Halloween.  The kids were so happy to see some snow.  Lucy and Eliza put on their winter coats and enjoyed running around the back yard.

 Snow on our Halloween decor!
First Snow for our cute home!
We were so nice and cozy in our home.  We started a fire in the fireplace and Lucy fell asleep right in the family room.  We were nice and warm all together!

Another Pine Wood Derby

We had a great evening watching Jason race his car in the Derby.  Mike always does such a nice job helping Jason with his car.  He came somewhere in the middle this year which is great.  He wasn't the first but, he wasn't the last.  Great job Jason!!

Fall Pictures

One morning we headed up Rose Canyon to take pictures of Lucy and Eliza.  Morning is a horrible time to take pictures.  The lighting is really bad but, we did our best with the time we had.  Lucy was not in the mood to have her picture taken so this is the best I could get of Lucy.  She is almost 2 years old here.
Eliza on the other hand wanted her picture taken so, I had a great time getting shots of her.  These are Eliza at the age of 5.

I got one with all the kids.  These are the best kids ever and I am so lucky to be their Mother!

Fall Break

Fall break had amazing weather this year!  It was so nice to be outside and enjoy the beautiful fall color all around.  We tried to pack as many fun fall activities as we could while we had a break from school.  We are so happy to have cousins that live close and have the pass of all passes!  We went to Trafalga with Kari and kids and had fun for an afternoon.
One evening we headed over to Gardner Village to check out all the fun witches!

We spend one evening at Cornbelly's  It was so busy the night we went but, we were still able to do everything that we wanted.  Going down the big slides.
 Playing and playing!!

 Watching plays.
We finally convinced Grandma Schwitzer that she had to try this place out!  She came and we had so much fun with her.  We made it through the kid corn maze.
 Played in the corn.

Played in the hay.  Peek a boo Eliza!

We went on a hay ride and of course we hit the Princess area.
Lucy loved sitting in the Princess carriage.  We then went to McDonalds after and had some ice-cream. It was a fun night!

Young Spooky Dinner

Every year the Young's get together for the annual Spooky Dinner.   All the kids and some adults dressed up.  I have to say my sister-in-law's do an amazing job coming up with themed costumes each year!  This is definitely not one of my talents.
Ryan and Erin's family was well done.  They were the Wizard of Oz.  Even Liam's little bottle was a tin can!  Very cute!
We found out that Joe and Jessica are finally having a girl!!!  This is so exciting.  I loved Jessica's shirt and she even put a little bow on the baby!
JanaLynn and girls were Little Bo Beep and her Sheep.  Hello!  so cute!  Brad, Allen, and David came a little later after the BYU game dressed as BYU Fans.
Cute little sheep... Linnea and Elsie
The two red heads were both cats.  A Lion and a Tiger.  Brad and Lucy.
 The fun spooky food.

My Mom planned fun games for the kids through out the night.  There was balloon popping for treats.
The traditional spider web in the living room.
 Donut eating contest.
 Anne won this event!
Digging your hand through spaghetti brains to find an eye.
It was a fun night and one the kids look forward to during the Fall season.
