The Thue's

We have come to the realization that with moving we are going to have to say goodbye to people that we love very much.  The Thue Family is one that is hard.  Bishop Thue has served with Mike over the last 3 years.  During that time Sister Thue would sit with me at church and help me with kids.  My kids love her and look forward to seeing her every Sunday.  We call her our church Grandma!  The Thue's have been such a blessing in our families life and we hope you can keep in touch with them always.  We are not moving too far away so we hope to see them often.

A New Cousin!

 On April 19th Liam Probst Young was born.  We are so happy to have a new baby in our family again.  He is the sweetest baby around and it has been fun holding a new born again.  He has such a special spirit about him and we are so lucky to have him in the Young family!

Proud

I am so proud of my boys!  Mike and Jason built this pinewood derby car together.  Jason designed the car all by himself.  We didn't come in 2nd place like last year but, we still had a great time.  Jason won the award for best all around car from the judges.  Way to go Jason and Mike!

Spring Break

 We had the best weather over Spring Break!  We were showing the house and things were a little crazy but, we still manage to have some fun.  One day we had a picnic at a park.  The kids enjoyed the sun and playing together.

 We went to the Zoo one day and had a great time.  Lucy loved being in the stroller and looking at the animals.  We had lunch and of course went on the train ride.

Auntie Jill came with us.  My kids are so lucky to have such a fun, loving, caring Auntie.
The kids ran through the sprinklers, we made cookies, and just hung out.  I really enjoyed having the kids home for one whole week.

Easter

 We had a great Easter this year.  We colored our eggs the evening before and the kids always have a fun time doing that.

 Easter morning the kids found their Easter baskets.  They each got lots of candy and a new book in their basket.  We then got in our new Easter outfits and went to church.

I am always grateful for Easter and the time I get to reflect on the Atonement of Jesus Christ.  We had a really neat Easter morning with our kids as we talked about the real meaning of Easter.  I love reflecting on how the Atonement has helped me so much in my life.  I really do not know what I do without the Saviors strength in my life.

The Best Sister

 Anne is the best older sister.  Eliza and Lucy both adore her and always want to be with her.  Anne loves to read and many times I will have Anne read to Lucy.  Lucy loves to be read to and she is so lucky to have a sister that loves to read to her.  I love moments like this!

We Are Moving and Building a New Home!!

 Mike and I made a decision that has been on our minds for a couple of years now.  We have had feelings that we need to move but, we were not sure where we wanted to go.  We love our home in Saratoga Springs and we love the people in our neighborhood.  When we would have these thoughts we would think about it but, then not think too hard on it.  We ended up running into a lot that we really like in Herriman.  We found a really good builder and we made the decision after a lot of prayer and thinking through everything.  Moving has been the hardest on Jason.   He loves it here and he has informed us that "we are ruining his life."  However, over the last couple of weeks we are won him over with the benefits of living in Herriman and he is feeling a little bit better.

So, this is an excited adventure for us.  I thought I would post some pictures of our home so we could always remember this house.  I love this house and it is going to be really hard to leave when that time comes.  We put the home up for sale and we sold it in 5 days.  We sold it to a woman in our neighborhood and we really could see the hand of a loving Heavenly Father through the process for both parties.  I am happy to sale the home to a good family and it makes leaving it a little bit easier.
