Happy Birthday Mike

For Mike's birthday this year we went out to dinner with some of his best friends.  We went up to the Mandarin in Bountiful and again no picture… I have become the worst with my camera!  We had a great evening with his friends.  Mike's birthday fell on a Sunday this year and we had a family party at Grandma and Grandpa Schwitzer's.  I can't think of any other people that Mike would want to be with on his birthday.  Mike got these new Muck boots.  He has been talking about them since Alaska so, now his is a proud owner!!  How we love this guy and are so happy he was born 37 years ago.  We are getting old sweets!!

Ten Years of Anne

Can my little girl really be 10?  These have been the most enjoyable 10 years with this girl in our lives. Anne has always been a ray of sunshine to our family.  She was the most pleasant baby and had the best biggest smile.  She has always been just easy going and a lot of fun.  From the beginning she has been Jason's side kick and they enjoyed playing together as young Little's.  Once Anne had Younger sisters she immediately took the role of mini Mom.  She has helped me with Eliza and Lucy.  Lucy has especially loved Anne as a second Mom.  Anne is a fast learner and she learned to read at a young age. Since then she has loved reading books and been advanced through school.   She started dance at 3 and has been dancing every since off and on.  Just recently she has decided that she really loved ballet and has given her heart to that.  Anne has always had a lot of friends, but I have to say that her best friends are her sisters!  There are times my girls have not had friends over in a while because they are just so happy hanging out together.  Anne I love your courage and determination to be the best!  Your kindness and sweetness are qualities I so admire in you!  We love you Anne and are so grateful to have you in our family!
She woke up and opened one present.
 More Legos!
Pictures of Anne through the years...
Your birthday this year fell on Presidents day so there was No school.  We headed to the rec center and went swimming.  When we came home DAd was home from work so we opened the rest of your presents.

Love this beautiful smile and girl.  We hope you made a wish.. Wishes do come true!!

A Pajama Party!

It was Anne year to have a friend party and she chose to have a Pajama Party!  All the girls came in their pajamas.  We had breakfast for dinner.  We served waffles with all the toppings, fruit, and sausage.  We also made some yummy orange julius.
We then had each of the girls decorate their own pillow case.  This got a little messy.  Note to self… only do this again if we can be outside!  But, they turned out cute and the girls had a good time being creative.

Opened presents and then we headed down stairs to watch a movie with lots of treats during the movie!
Anne chose to invite just a few of her closest friends which include her cousins and Sisters.   How lucky we are to live so close to our cousins.  Paige, Allison, Anne, Oakley, Sydney, Kate, Evelyn, and Eliza.  Aleah was missing in the picture but, we can't leave out our favorite neighbor!

It was fun evening and Anne has some really great friends!!

Off Track Zoo Outing and Sewing

After coming home from California we still had some time off from school.  One day we decided to head to the Zoo with some other D trackers.  This winter has been so mild but, the day we decided to go it was raining so hard.  We went anyway and ended up being the only people at the Zoo!  No lie!  It was a Monday and raining and we were the only people crazy enough to go.  It rained for just a little bit and then it cleared up to be an awesome day!

We went with Barton's and the Butterfield's.
Anne's birthday present from Grandma and Grandpa Young were these scarves.  But, Grandma took it one step further and came one day and taught Anne how to make them, and taught her a little bit about sewing!  Thanks Grandma!  Anne loved it!
