School Strike

At the end of April the public schools went on strike and the two littles were out of school for a week!  We got together with some friends and took advantage of the cooler weather to go hike the wind cave in Mesa.  It was a fun day being with my girls and friends!  We were not happy about the strike, but being with my littles for an extra week made it worth it!

ALA JR High Dance Co.

Anne made the Junior High Dance Company this year.  She loved it and it was so fun to see her progress in dance.  Loved that her good teacher saw so much potential in her and had her join the team.  It was a great year for Anne!

Lucy Moments

I just had to document all these little moments of Lucy.  She got to go on some fun field trips with her 1st grade class!  Lucy has become good friends with Will Purser and they enjoyed the Riggs carnival this month together.  Lucy is also my little reader.  I find her reading all the time and I love it!  She has improved by leaps and bounds this year in her reading.  How we love our little Buttercup!

Zach's Senior Pictures

I had the chance to take Zach's Senior pictures.  How we love this kid and are so excited see where life takes him.  He is kind, patient, and great example to our kids!  We love Zach!

Geertsen Cousin Time

The first week of April the Geertsen's came into town to spend time with us.  We loved every minute having them here.  We did a lot of swimming, bike rides,  eating out, and even doing a little painting at As You Wish.  The night of Greg's birthday we sang over Skpe to him with the rest of the Schwitzer clan.  We are so lucky to have these good people as family.  It was the first time we witness the time and energy put into figuring out Leah's diabetes.  Cathy is amazing in how she takes care of Leah and helps her manage the disease.  It was hard to see them leave once the week was over!
