Happy Birthday Mike!

Happy Birthday to the most awesome amazing guy!  We got him this new hiking GPS.  I will now know that he will never get lost with all this camping him and Jason will be doing.  I don't want to lose this guy! :)  The day before his birthday we went up to Soldier Hollow to do some tubing.  It was so much fun and felt great to be outside in the sun.
They would tow us up the mountain which was so nice.

We started by going down by our selves but, the kids where not heavy enough to make it all the way down.  So, we soon learned it was the most fun and fastest when we all went down together as a family!  We would get set up and Mike would push us down from the back.  We were laughing because Lucy never left her tube.  She sat in that thing for 2 hours straight.  Mike would just pull her around and we would hook her to the lift and then she would tube down the hill!  She has the life I tell ya!
Lucy was so cute though.  We would get some serious speed and she was laughing and smiling.
After we went out to dinner in Park City.
On his actual birthday Mike went ice fishing with some of the Young Men, Grandpa Schwitzer, and Jason.  They had a great time and Mike even caught a lucky birthday fish.  They came home and we had Grandpa and Grandma Schwitzer over for dinner.  We then watched the Olympics and called it a great Birthday.  Love you Mike!

Happy 9th Birthday Anne!

Anne's Birthday fell on a Sunday this year.  When your birthday is on a Sunday you can only do so much so, the Saturday before we had some fun.  We went out to lunch and then we all went to watch the new Lego movie.  It was AWESOME!  So, we did all the really fun stuff the day before.   On her actual day she woke open and opened one present.

Dad getting his birthday morning hug from Anne and Lucy.   I love Lucy's bum crack in this picture!  :)  Love you Lucy!
She got some new earrings and a necklace.
We went shopping the week before and she picked out this new Sunday outfit.  She looked so pretty.  We all adore Anne and I can't imagine our family without her.  She is kind and helpful to her younger and older siblings.  The thing I most admire about Anne is her willingness to try anything.  She is not afraid to try and try again.  She has mastered things all by herself.  She has the mind set of "I want to learn that so, I will give it a try and see if I like it".  It's a talent that I don't have because I am always afraid I will fail.  But, she is not afraid of that, and it has helped her grow immensely!  She is a wonderful cook and very organized.  I often find her teaching Lucy down in the basement her colors and numbers.  She will make a wonderful teacher and mother someday!  We love you so much Anne!!
Sunday evening we had Grandma and Grandpa Young and Schwitzer here for dinner.  She then got to open her other presents.  She got the Lego boat and..
 this camera!!
She has taken some fun pictures!

Jason makes a great Lego buddy.  They got right to work on the boat.
Of course a party in not complete without Auntie Jill!  I found these pictures of Eliza and Jill making funny faces.  It was a great night celebrating Anne!!

Valentines Day!

Valentines Day landed on a Friday night this year.  Jason and Anne had to make Valentine boxes this year for their class.  Jason made a monster and Anne an iPod.  Mike had to go to Vernal that day so, he it made it back home for a Valentines dinner.  He bought me these amazing roses which made the house smell amazing.  We then dined on Cafe Rio.  The boys then wanted to watch the Olympics  and the girls decided it would be more fun to watch "Pride and Prejudice" down in the theatre.   It was a nice relaxing evening spent with those I love!

Amerinet Rep of the Year!

He is so handsome!!!  We are so proud of Mike and his hard work and dedication to his work.  He was just named Amerinet Rep of the Year for Medline.  That is pretty big since there are thousands of Medline Reps.  He works so hard and all his customers LOVE him.  His boss was in town the other day, and said when he is with Mike, visiting customers, he is like the Mayor.  Everyone wants to talk to him and say Hi.  I totally understand how they feel because I feel the same way!  Mike is so interesting to talk to and always has a funny story to tell or something interesting to say.  Mike is dedicated to work but, it also very good at not making it his life.  He understands that his first most important job is that of husband and Dad.  He has no problem putting aside work to be with family.  He understands that his job is just the means to be a provider for me and the kids.  His job doesn't make him who his is.  Being a husband and Father does!!    He missed getting his award at the National Meeting due to weather in Chicago but, we gave him lots of hugs and cheering here at home! :)

A Trip Down Town

We were off track the first week in Feburary so, we decided to head down town for an afternoon one day.  We took trax down which added an extra adventure for the kids.
We went to the Church Histroy Museum and enjoyed the children's area and the other parts of the museum.
 Fishing off Nephi's boat.
 Dancing to mexican music.
We then headed over to Tempe Square to go through some of the visitors centers.  We had such a fun afternoon just wondering around and enjoying the spirit around the Temple.  I love the ages of my kids right now and find so much joy in this phase of life!

Baby Boy Number 4!

Kathryn had a lunch party for Erin to celebrate her 4th!  Erin and Ryan are having another little boy and we are so excited to welcome him into the Young Family.  It was a fun girls afternoon and the food was so yummy.  Kathryn is also expecting around the same time as Erin.  It's fun to watch these two sisters be expecting together and the excitement they feel for each other!
