For Memorial Day we headed down to Topaz Mountain to do some exploring. Mike and Jason have been here a bunch, but the girls and I had never been. I have never been to a place quite like Topaz. It's in the middle of no where and you feel like you landed on the moon. As you start walking around though you start finding little treasures and the kids were going crazy.

The kids just went off looking for Topaz or other any kinds of rocks.
This rock hunter loves it here. Mike found tons of Topaz and some Amber pieces.
The kids enjoyed hiking around the rocks.
I had never been to this area of Utah before so, it was fun to go somewhere different. Even though it was really different it had its own kind of beauty.
