Mike and Jason have loved fishing this Summer. Just about every week they are off some where trying to catch something. One Saturday morning, they headed up to Silver Lake to do some fishing. They had Grandpa Schwitzer's boat and enjoyed catching a ton fish early in the morning. They ended their morning feeling great about their success! As they were walking toward the car they came across this huge Moose. He was eating but, as soon as he saw Mike with the boat he started freaking out. Mike thought the Moose was going to charge them so, they left the boat and ran back by the lake. They tried again to walk pass him but, as soon as he saw the boat he started huffing and walking toward them. They had to wait until the Moose left so, they could leave the lake. For some reason that Moose did not like the boat Mike was carrying. So, some great adventures together and I am glad they have enjoyed this time together!

Friends
"Make new friends but, keep the old. One is silver and the other's gold." I use to sing that song in elementary school and never really understood the meaning of it. As I have gone through life and have been through different things in my life I do. I met Lori up at Brighton Girl's Camp. We were camp counselors together. I loved Lori from the start and really relied on her and her fun personality during the hard times up there. We have kept in touch through the years and have children all the same ages. We love getting together with the Derricks and feeling their great spirit. My kids also love her kids so, it's just one of those friendships that Heavenly Father designed. Every time I see her I am uplifted or she says something that really helps me.... that is what being a friend is all about!
I hope my kids can make good friends and listen to spirit when it comes to making them. They will have a huge influence on you and make you a better person. It's good to always make new friends but, always keep your old because they are the "gold" in your life. One advice to my kids is to keep in touch and hold on to relationships you make throughout your life. They are gifts from God and there is a reason behind all of them.

Evelyn"s Baptism Pictures
We took Evelyn to capture her in her beautiful baptism dress. How we love Evelyn and are so grateful to have her cute personality in our lives. She is a deep thinker and always has lots of good questions for me. She knows how to have fun, though, and she is a great friend and cousin to Anne!
Anne came along to support her through the picture process!
Evelyn was baptized on August 31st and we all felt the spirit so strong when she was baptized. We love you Evelyn!

Schwitzer Cousin Pictures
JoAnn wanted to get some pictures of all the grand-kids in their Bear Lake shirts. So, at August Family Sunday we took some time to get a few pictures. It was crazy getting 20 kids to look at the camera and all be smiling but, I think we got some good shots of all of them.
Emily did not want her picture to be taken so, it took getting Uncle Tom holding her up to keep her in the picture!
Lucy loves Andrew and enjoyed getting a bike ride from him. Our kids are so lucky to have such wonderful cousins!

24th of July!
We spent the 24th with the Young's. In the afternoon we all went and saw the movie Monsters University which was super cute. After we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's to play some pioneer games and have a BBQ.
The first game was the kids had to act like a dog and see if they could get someone to laugh in the circle. Sibling to Sibling it wasn't very funny.
But, cousin to cousin was hilarious!
They couldn't help themselves but, laugh when a cousin came up to them!
Cute Elizabeth at 5 months.
We had some three legged races.
Anne and I made a great team!
We then played a game of linking tag which got a little crazy!
I can't get enough of this precious 2 year old!
Uncle Joe won the tag game!
Then we played the stick pull game. All guys were up for this!
It came down to Mike and Ryan.
Uncle Ryan won the stick pull and Auntie Erin was very proud!
Liam giving Grandma kisses.
We then made homemade ice-cream by throwing the bags of ice and cream back and forth to each other. It was a really fun day and we enjoyed being together and remembering the great Pioneers that sacrificed so much for us. We came home that night and watched fireworks from our back yard. It was a perfect Summer day!

Bear Lake
The next day the Geertsens arrived and we had more fun with more cousins. Thanks to Uncle Tom we enjoy going out on the lake on a wave runner.
Lucy worked everyday very hard in the sand. We enjoyed sitting and just watching her move dirt from one area to another.
The excursion was out in force and luckily these scouts know how to row! Grandpa took full advantage of having grand-kids that liked to row!
Eliza and Lucy were my swimming babes. They swam and swam. They were full on putting there heads under the water and enjoying the lake.
Zach is now old enough to ride the 4 wheeler. Jason enjoyed going on rides with him.
My sweets!
Mike and I were the Bocce Ball Champs!
The kids made this cool sand castle together. They all worked on it at different times.
On Sunday, the Neddos arrived and we took some pictures of the kids in their shirts.
The Men relaxing and watching golf.
Bear Lake has some pretty amazing sunsets over the lake. I love sitting on the porch in the evening to watch them. We said farewell to another great Bear Lake trip and can't wait for our next adventure up there.
