Jason has been taking Band this year. He is in percussion and really has enjoyed it. They had their first concert and it was so much fun to watch him. Beginning Band did 3 pieces. To be honest, I thought it was going to be pretty hard to listen to them since they have just all learned to play these instruments in August. But, were we ever surprised! They were really, really good! Jason switched between percussion instruments in each song. In Drummer Boy he was on the bells, Up on the House Top bass drum, and Jingle Bells cow bell. He was not happy about the cow bell. He actually was really disappointed, but then we showed him the Saturday night live skit with "More Cow Bell" and we had him sold on being the best cow bell player!
Lucy slept through the last part of the concert. Sometimes it hard to support all her older siblings!
