4th of July

The 4th of July fell on Sunday this year so, it had a different feel to it. It was nice to get dressed up in our red, white, and blue, go to church ,and talk about how grateful we are to live in America.
On Saturday we went and saw the big firework show at Thanksgiving point. We went with G and G Young and Ryan and his family. It always fun to see the big fireworks with the loud boom. Eliza wasn't sure what to think about the fireworks and her mouth is wide open!

I had to get a picture of my two girls looking so cute in their new summer outfits. I love when they are matching!

In the evening we went to the Geertsen's and had a 4th of July BBQ with the family. The men had an intense game of bocce ball going. We were happy to have G and G Schwitzer home to celebrate the holiday with!

When it got dark we headed out to the Geertsen Circle and had an awesome firework show put on by Tom. The kids enjoyed watching the fireworks with their cousins.

Sarah and Cathy enjoying a quiet moment while the kids watch the fireworks.
It was a fun holiday weekend and we loved spending it with both sides of family!
