Boxing it out

One day we went to Mike's work to meet all the people in his office.  This was exciting for the kids because their Dad has really never worked in an official office.  While there everyone was so nice.  They got lots of Berlin prices included these boxing gloves.  The came home and boxed out their frustrations with each other!  It was amazing to see how Berlin Packaging works and see where Mike goes everyday.  He is so lucky to work with Paul and other fun people.

Braces of Jason

Jason is finally ready to get his braces on!  He actually has been excited about getting them so, he was ready.   He has done great with his braces.  He was a little sore at first, but has gotten used to them fast.  He will probably need them on for the next 2 years.  He looks great with them on!

Payson Temple

While the kids were off track I took them to tour the Payson Temple.  It was a drive, but we had all the time in the world!  It was fun to have a little road trip.  This Temple is so pretty.  I really loved everything about it.  It had an apple orchard theme throughout it and in the stain glass windows.  The most amazing art work was hung throughout it.    I loved how each of the ordinances were on different floors.  I explained to the kids that this is so symbolic of our journey here on earth and getting back to live with Heavenly Father.  I loved the spirit that was felt that day.  We missed having Mike with us, but he couldn't get off work.   How I love the temple and the lessons I learn in the temple!

Curling

One evening Mike and I took a curling class with some friends from the ward.  I thought it would super easy to learn this game, but boy was I wrong.  It actually takes some skill and some muscle to play the game.  My whole body was sore after playing!!  We had a great time with our friends and it was exciting to learn something new!

Off Track For The Last Time

We are off Track for 3 weeks!  This will be the last time we have a break in the school year.  Next year we are going on a traditional schedule.  I am really excited about this.  I have loved year round, but I have missed the consistency in year round school.  Plus, Jason starts Middle school next year and it will be nice to all be all the same the schedule.

We have been taking it easy the last couple of weeks.  The girls made a fairy house in the picture above, and have enjoyed playing dolls.  It really makes me happy to see my girls playing and letting their imaginations go.  I love that Anne will still play house with Eliza and Lucy.  They will play for hours and be so happy together!
One afternoon we headed to Neptune Park.  We always enjoy this park and enjoyed some of the nice weather.  It has been a little rainy the last couple of days so, we have to take advantage of these nice sunny days!

I had the chance of going to the Natural History Museum with Anne and her class.  We love that museum and I had a great time with her and her school friends!

Spring Snow

We had a huge Spring snow this year!  It just kept snowing and snowing.  It was the most snow we all year and the kids really didn't seem to mind.  They played in it and made the snowman we never made this year.   Mike and I on the other hand were a little worried about our trees and plants that had just budded out.  It snowed all day and I took this pictures the next morning at 7:00 in the morning.

The next day it was warm and super sunny and it was amazing to watch all this melt within hours!
This is what our yard looked like at 7:00p.m that same day!  I have never seen snow melt that fast!!  I was glad the snow was gone because I am really ready for Spring!!
