Schwitzer Easter Party

 The Saturday before Easter Grandma Schwitzer had us all over for a get together.  We started out with the egg hunt in her back yard.  The kids were successful finding their eggs!

 We are just missing Jacob in this picture but, here are the Schwitzer grand-kids!

 Grandma Schwitzer came up with this new tradition......the Easter fish pond.  The kids go nuts for it and can't wait to see what their fishing pole will bring them.  Each of the kids got to go to the pond a couple of times.  Each of the gifts are so thoughtful and fun for them.  Grandma is brilliant!

 We would send the kids in their age groups.  I caught a couple of them with their groups!

We ate some yummy food and just hung out.  The kids played at the park and it was a really fun evening spent with family.

Coloring Easter Eggs

 I love the tradition of coloring eggs for Easter.  The kids always love making their own creations and take pride in them.  Good job kiddos on creating beautiful Easter eggs!

General Conference

 We love this time of year when we get to hear from our prophet and apostles.  The kids set up camp on Saturday.  They had their conference packets and treats.  Towards the end of the session they started these fun games.  I am sure how happy Jason is in this picture!

 On Sunday, Jason, Anne and I went down to the morning session.  The kids are lucky to have Grandpa and Grandma Schwitzer to take them around.  We went through the tunnel and the kids met Elder Cook.  It was Anne's first time to conference and she enjoyed seeing President Monson speak in person.  After, we went and had lunch with Grandma and Grandpa.  We also went up to Grandpa's office and hung out.  It was fun to be downtown and enjoy the spirit of conference.

Anne loves to bake and she found this recipe in a magazine and wanted to try it.  It was a multi-layered rainbow cake. On the outside she colored the frosting blue to make it look like the sky with puffy white clouds.  When you cut the cake you found a rainbow surprise.  It tasted so good!  Nice work Anne!

Briggs

 Erin asked me to take some pictures of sweet Briggs and I jumped at the chance to see this little guy.  He is such a handsome baby and I loved spending time with my niece and nephews.  Here are some of my favorites.

Good Times

It was so nice to get together with all these ladies this past month.  Jen, Ann, Jen and Mandy.  I have so many memories with all these ladies some from high school and others through college.  We met at Kneaders and were there for hours catching up and getting advice from one another on raising kids.  I am grateful to have had such great friends during my high school years.   We all commented on how lucky we all are to all still be active in the church.  Many of our friends have left or have gone astray.  It was good to see we were all still active and doing the Mom thing!  Hopefully, we can get together more often but, we are all busy Mom's so, we cherish the time we do have.

Newest Young Cousin

 Briggs Rappleye Young was born on March 5th and we were so excited to finally meet this little guy.  He was 10lbs when he was born!  He is such a handsome guy and we love having a new baby in the family.  Congrats to Ryan, Erin, and kids!

 We waited to meet him when he was home from the hospital.  We were all getting over Strep and did not want to pass it on.  All kids got a chance to hold their new cousin!
