Bear Lake

 We have been so excited for this trip up to Bear Lake.  The kids have been counting down for weeks!  Bear Lake never disappoints and we had a great time with our Schwitzer Family.

 The night we got up there it was raining but, I love watching the storms cross the Lake.  Lucy loves Grace and enjoyed getting bike rides from her!

 These two are like two peas in a pod.  They have such a great time together!

 The kids loved to go under the water tramp and look under the water.

 Greg and JoAnn have done so much work on the lake house.  The pipes froze last winter and destroyed the house.  They have put hours and hours into the home getting it back into shape.  While we were there we helped with a few projects.  Greg, Mike, and Paul made these stairs a lot more stable.

 We made cousin shirts.

 A talent show was given.

 Lots of play cooking was done by Lucy.

These girls sure do love their Grandma!

Scout Camp

 I have had the great opportunity to be in Cub Scouts the whole time that Jason has been in Cub Scouts.  I have loved being at all his cub camps and enjoyed watching him learn and have fun.  This year we went up to Camp Tracy for 2 days.  The first day I was with the younger boys but, the second day I went with the older boys which includes Jason.  He got to shoot guns and arrows.  He even taught me how to shoot the bow!  I had so much fun and I am so grateful that Heavenly Father has given me this chance to be with him at this time.  This is the last year I can be with Jason at camp.  Next year he moves on and the men take over after this.  Thanks Jason for being so nice to me at camp!  He would sit by me, give me hugs, and even bought me some candy at the trading post.  I will always cherish my time at camp with him!

Newest Schwitzer Cousin

On July 5th Dallan Robert Schwitzer was born!  We couldn't be more happy and excited to have this newest cousin in our family.  He is a handsome baby and we are so excited for Josh, Sara, and kids.  I loved the little 4th of July hat he got to wear.  What a great time of year to have a birthday!!

4th of July

 In the evening we headed down to Orem to see the Colonial Fest going on down there.  We went with the Young side and enjoyed learning about the beginnings of this great country.

 We then headed up the canyon with some food and the kids enjoyed playing in the water and adults had some good conversation.  We were having so much fun we almost missed coming back down into the valley to see fireworks!

We made it to Thanksgiving point to watch their awesome firework show.  It was so fun to be with family and celebrate this wonderful country we live in.  I love the U.S.A!!

4th of July

 We started out the day with our traditional red, white, and Blue pancake breakfast.  We then got in the car and drove up the canyons to Snowbird.  It was so pretty up there and the temperature was perfect and it beat being down in the valley where it was so hot!

 We hung out on their playground for a while and let the kids run around and play.

 We then headed over  to take a tram ride up to the top of the mountain.  This was fun and beat hiking up it with small kids.

 At the top the views were awesome!

 We loved looking down into the Salt Lake Valley.

 Coming back down the tram was fun and tickled our stomaches.  We saw still a little bit of snow up there!

It was a fun morning!  We then headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Schwitzers to have lunch and visit before we left for our evening activities.

Last Day of School!

 We couldn't be more happy to be done with this school year and get a nice break until August.  Jason completed the 4th grade!  He couldn't be more happier.  This year he survived being in a class full of girls and only 7 boys in the class.

 Anne completed 2nd grade and she was a little more sad.  She loved her teachers and made some really fun friends this year in her class.

 Eliza has been done with pre-school for a month but, is happy to have everyone home again!

Lucy completed another year of Mommy School.  We are working on potty training and counting!

Awards

 With the last day of school right around the corner come the end of year awards.  Anne received the Brilliant Bobcat Award which takes getting  good grades and doing other extra activities during the year.  We are really proud of Anne and the hard work she put into getting that award.  She also got an honor roll pin and good citizen pin.  Jason got the Presidents Physical Fitness Award which took a lot of sit ups and running!  He also got the citizen pin and a pin for being in the school choir.  Way to go Schwitzer kids!!!
