We Are Moving and Building a New Home!!

Mike and I made a decision that has been on our minds for a couple of years now.  We have had feelings that we need to move but, we were not sure where we wanted to go.  We love our home in Saratoga Springs and we love the people in our neighborhood.  When we would have these thoughts we would think about it but, then not think too hard on it.  We ended up running into a lot that we really like in Herriman.  We found a really good builder and we made the decision after a lot of prayer and thinking through everything.  Moving has been the hardest on Jason.   He loves it here and he has informed us that "we are ruining his life."  However, over the last couple of weeks we are won him over with the benefits of living in Herriman and he is feeling a little bit better.

So, this is an excited adventure for us.  I thought I would post some pictures of our home so we could always remember this house.  I love this house and it is going to be really hard to leave when that time comes.  We put the home up for sale and we sold it in 5 days.  We sold it to a woman in our neighborhood and we really could see the hand of a loving Heavenly Father through the process for both parties.  I am happy to sale the home to a good family and it makes leaving it a little bit easier.

My favorite room was this pink room.  All my girl's spend some time in this room
The bonus room where all the toys were.  This is where the kids would hang out!

Here we are standing on our lot.  It's a beautiful lot and we can't wait to call this land home!

Schwitzer Park Night

We love this time of year when Grandma and Grandpa come home for conference. We were so happy to find out that Grandma and Grandpa will be done with their time in Russia in July! Grandpa has been reassigned to SLC where he will be on the Temple Committee and over the Northwest Area of North America. We will be so happy to have them back home. Grandpa will still be busy but, at least they will be home for birthdays and holidays!
One evening we all decided to head over to Riverton Park to eat dinner and hang out. It was a fun evening with family!
The picture above are the sisters with Greg.

Jason and Bubbs
I don't know how Josh did this but, he stood up with Mike on his shoulders! That is one strong guy!

Lucy and her thumb

None of my other kids have sucked their thumb. Lucy my baby is my only one and I had to catch her one day sucking her thumb. She likes to sit out our back door with her favorite blanket ( nie nie), suck her thumb, and watch Max. I am sure I will have to stop this habit soon but, right now it's just so cute!

The Giant Fort

One evening I came home to find the Mike and the kids had built this giant fort in our family room. Furniture had beent pulled out and this things had different rooms! The kids loved it and we let them sleep in it one night. It was up one more day when I needed my space again! Mike is such a fun Dad and is always up for playing with the kids.

Basketball 2012

Jason had another successful season of basketball. Jason loves to play the game and he enjoys learning more about it each year. This year he got better at his lay ups and he played awesome defense. We had a lot of fun watching him make baskets and help out his team. Nice work!!

Happy 34th Mike!

My sweet handsome husband had another birthday. Mike was born in Aurora Colorado and his Mom always says he was the most beautiful baby. He was born with tons of blonde hair and all the nurses in the hospital were going crazy over him. Now he is 34 and people still go crazy over him but, especially me! Mike got a new tool chest for his birthday. My handy man can now keep all of his tools organized and together.

He had a busy day because he was training a new rep here in Salt Lake. So, it was work as usual and then that evening I took him out to dinner. We then headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Young's for cake and ice-cream.
One year older and wiser too..... Happy Birthday to you!!!!!
