A Week Up in Utah

We were not planning on going up to Utah this summer because we were planning on going up in the Fall for Jill's wedding.  But, as the summer went on I found myself longing to see family still.  Mike had to work so the kids and I packed up and made the trek up to SLC.  It was a really long drive by the time we got to ST. George I was tired of driving.  Jason drove some of the way, which helped a lot!

 Jason got to go golfing with his two Grandpa's.  I hope he always remember this!

Utah was beautiful as usual this time of year!  We were so glad we took the time to go up!

 It was actually really cool up in Utah!  It was a nice break from our 100 degree weather!  One afternoon we headed down to temple square to walk around.

We always love a good visit with the Derricks.  The girls had a sleepover with them and had a blast!

Happy Father's Day 2019

 Happy Father's Day to the greatest man around!  For his big day we got him a new Camp Chef smoker.  We enjoyed some yummy smoked ribs that day made by the man!  Mike is an unbelievable Dad.  I hope our children always remember how lucky they are to have him!

Church Camps

 The week after school got out it was time to go to Girl's Camp and Young Men's Camp.  Eliza and Anne got to go camping in SanDiego for their girls camp.  They spent time at the beach, went to the temple, and the Mormon Battalion historic site.  They had such a great time with the other girls from our ward!

 Mike and Jason went to Moab!  They went mountain biking, and river rafting and just had an amazing time!  Lots of crazy stories from this trip that will be told for years.  I was so grateful the Mike was able to be with Jason on this trip!

Lucy and I held the fort down at home.  We welcomed a new mattress for Mike and I that week.  Lucy and I had nightly sleepovers on it!  I had such fun time being with my Lu Lu!
