We head back to school early here in the desert. My elementary girls started two weeks before the older two. We had our back to school dinner and our theme for the year is to be grateful and to work on saying Thank You more often! Mike then gave each of the kids a Father's Blessing. How grateful I am for Mike and that he holds the priesthood to bless our kids! I think it's going to be a great year for all of the kids!!

Cousin Pictures!
We spend the last couple of days with Grandma and Grandpa Young. Ryan and his family also were there so it was fun to spend time with them before they headed back to Texas. We took lots of cousin pictures!
Also, Jacob returned from his mission! We were suppose to go see him at the airport, but he made a surprise home coming for his family while we were at Bear Lake. So, we saw him for just a moment after Bear Lake before we headed back to Utah! We had a great trip back to be with family. How important this trip is every year to make sure we develop and keep these great cousin relationships. Also, I love seeing my own siblings and Mike's family also. So grateful we had this time to be with family!

Bear Lake
One morning we hiked to Bloomington Lake. There is a rope swing at the lake and Jason and Allen spent some time going off that into the Lake. It was fun to visit a different lake up by Bear Lake. On the way back from the Lake Brad's van broke down, Not very fun for Brad and JanaLynn. Also, Ryan's family had a stomach bug and at some point someone in their family was sick. So, some hiccups, but both families had such a positive attitude about everything!
One evening the Dad's were a human piƱata! The kids attacked them as you can see by their shirts to get the prizes and candy!
Our last night we celebrated by lighting sparklers. It was a fun family reunion with the Young side. Lots of fun memories made!

Days at the Beaches of Bear Lake
Nothing says Summer quite like being at Bear Lake and playing at the beach. We just spend the next couple of days hanging out there and catching up together. We made some shirts to also remember out time up there. Lots of spike ball, adults talking, and just fun!

Bear Lake with the Youngs
We met with the Young side to head up to Bear Lake for the week. We drove up Sunday afternoon and that evening we had a little birthday party for Grandma and Grandpa Young. We played a game to get to know them better and then enjoyed cake and ice-cream! It was a great start to a fun week!

Day 4 of the Schwitzer Reunion
We met for Lunch at Auntie Cathy's and then we had a great afternoon playing Olympic games. We were divided into different teams and competed against each other. It was such a fun afternoon and it was the perfect way to end our time with the Schwitzer side.

Day 3 of Schwitzer Reunion
On this day the older kids met to do baptisms in the morning and then we met at a church for lunch and activities. We had a yummy lunch and then each made a square to make a Schwitzer quilt. After there were a few games of dodge ball that got pretty crazy when the adults went against the kids. That evening we went to Uncle Paul's for dinner and hanging out!
