Bear Lake Weekend

 We decided to head up to Bear Lake for the weekend.  Grandma and Grandpa Schwitzer needed a new mattress and bed taken up to the house so, we decided to make a little trip out of it.  We headed up after the kids got out of school.  We enjoyed Friday evening walking on the beach and watching movies.  On Saturday morning we headed right down to the lake to enjoy the day.

 The boys took the canoe and headed out to do some fishing.  It wasn't a good day for fishing but, they enjoyed trying!

 The girl's stayed back and we made a mud spa.  We gave each other pedicures.  The bear lake sand to wonders for our feet! :)

 We were the only people on the beach.  We went up the weekend after Memorial Day and the lake was pretty quiet.  One of the best parts about Bear Lake is in the afternoon.  It seems the wind picks up and the wind forms small waves for the kids to play in.  Jason thought it would be cool to sit in the lake and let the waves wash over him.

We enjoyed our short stay but, it was nice just to be together with our family.  We went into town and had Bear Lake Pizza and some chocolate covered raspberries.  Yummy!  We are so thankful to have a place to make so many great memories.

Braces Off....for now

Anne finished up her first phase of braces.  She had a space between her two front teeth and so they brought everything together.  She looks beautiful!  2nd phase will start when she gets the rest of her teeth in and is a little bit older.

Memorial Day

 We had a great Memorial Day weekend.  We just spent a lot of time relaxing and enjoying our first days of Summer.  We went to visit Great Grandma and Grandpa Davis's grave.  I was glad we had gone because no one had been to visit their grave and leave flowers.  It would make me sad to think that they had no flowers on their grave.  We then headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Young's for a Memorial Birthday Party for Jill.

 I had to get some pictures of Elizabeth.  She is just at the cutest age!

 We played some games to start out Auntie Jill's party.

The kids favorite game was kill the kids.  It's where the adults throw balls at the kids while they run across the yard.  Seems mean but, the kids love it!  We then had a nice BBQ and Party for Jill in the back yard.  It was a perfect day to kick off Summer!

Anne's Dance Recital

 Anne did great at her Dance Recital this Spring.  She now goes to a dance studio that just does Ballet and she loves it.  It was a good move for her and she has enjoyed learning a lot more about dance.

 She passed off her right, left, and middle splits!  Way to go!  I could never ever do the splits as a young girl so, I am super impressed!

Do Not Mess With A Schwitzer

 Since we live at the edge of the wilderness we always have fun creatures around our yard.  We have huge snakes but, they keep away the mice so, I deal with the snakes.  We will not put up with these gophers because they damage our grass and property.  So, these gophers do not have a chance once they step foot on our property.  Mike has become an expert at killing these beast and I am so glad.   He is the best husband and keeps our home and family free of any crazy beast that come our way!
